Encourage your child to look outside the car and focus on something still. Play games such as "I Spy".
Avoid letting your child read in the car.
Open the windows for fresh air.
Avoid an empty stomach. Try giving your child dry crackers or ginger snap cookies. No greasy foods.
Position the car-seat so that your child can see outside.
Have your child breathe from his/her mouth, not from his/her nose.
Bring along your child's music cd's. Everyone can sing along!
Stop frequently! Let your child get out of the car and walk around.
Keep a Sick Bear® Bowl next to the car-seat or have your child hold one for security.
Watch for early warning signs of car sickness. Your child may appear pale and start to feel sick or dizzy.
